Flowers

Different people have different type of life. My Boss Janice, today have meeting whole day. So she couldnt go do something herself.

She asked me to go down guard house to check is there flowers for her. It is from her bf. I thought what special occassion today? Then I found out from her. Today is just another month between her and her bf. Her bf will give her flowers every "month". See see, so good de guy. Haiz, not every guy will so good to give girl flowers.

For me i wont mind if it is cheap, or if i am rich. But this type of money can safe for other good use. So often give flowers to your love one, special occasion dont know what to surprise her le. So i think flowers are still wiser to keep for special occasion or saying sorry =P.

Movie (Just Follow Law)

Today i went to watch movie with Elaine, Xi Zhen & Ms Loo.

Ms Loo suggested to watch it at GV Orchard, so that will means at Plaza Sing. Why GV? Because she will be using her GV Voucher o_O". So Xi Zhen volunteered to check out the available timeslot, here are the results. Plaza: 9:35pm, Marina: 7:00pm, Bishan: 7:10pm, Tampines: 7:05pm, Jurong Point: 6:55pm, Yishun: 6:55pm, Tiong Bahru: 7:00pm, Vivocity: 7:05pm. After some discussion between them, they decided to watch it at Tiong Bahru. Keke =)

The two main cast for the movie are Fann Wong & Gurmit Singh.

A Brief start on movie. It's about a government company "WAS", when minister is holding a visit with some VIPs. Then all the staff had to pack up very thing neat neat and to be at their best form. But the visit didn't went smoothly after all. Approaching the end of the session of the visit, during a photograph session. While everyone is squeezing closer together to get fit into the photo. That causes Minister to fall back with along with the unstable board.

As the usual practice in such government bodies, an investigation is carried out to find out what happen and who is the one which course this accident. Upper Management call up a meeting, trying to gather as much info leading to the fall. There is a lot of 'finger-pointing' here and there trying to get a scapegoat for it. Finally the decision was made, the lowly Lim Teng Zui shoulders the blame alone, without knowing he is being fired at. This fired will cause his bonus to be GONE.

Without knowing what happen, until after he received his pay slip came. He then found out that he do not have any performance bonus for this month. Felt very fed up, he decided to look up for Tanya to check out what happen. During the discussion with his boss, a big quarrel occured causing a volcano erruption on Teng Zui. Feeling so bloody on fire, he decided to seek revenge. There is a car chase going on when Tanya is heading home, leading into a serious car accident. Both of them were lucky to survied in such a serious car accident.

The real fun of the show begins here, lots of funny seens.
During the period while they are unconscious, something weird and unexplainable happened. Their souls exchanged position O_O". Which means - inside Teng Zui body is Tanya & inside Tanya body is having Teng Zui. (o_o")

When they are awake both of them sustain a shock, and almost end up in Hougang Chalet (Mental Hospital) while arguing with the doctor. So they went in search of many ways to get their souls exchange back, but none of them work. So they are forced to accept the fact, that they cannot get their own bodies back. And started to adjust to live in the bodies that they are in now.

So now Tanya just carry on what Teng Zui use to work. Example - moving of junks to "???" uncomfirmed place. (Uncomfirm means few days later she will need to move to another place). During her stay in his body, she then finally realised what are the difficulties between subordinate and the boss.

As for Teng Zui in Tanya form doing what Tanya use to do, but he mis-use his power. And end up breaking a lot of rule and got himself in a lot of trouble. Example - Approving project which is not needed & Approving Taxi claim for staff which is unnecessary. Which lead to overspent for their E & P department.

On one occasion Tanya overheard a conversation from Eric and Chee Hong. They mentioned they make a suggestion to CEO that E & P department is a waste of money and they are not in help for the company. CEO is pending to close the department to cut cost. After hearing all this, she rush straight to find Teng Zui. Telling him that E & P is facing a closing down situation, if he still fools around or so on. All the staff in this department including him as boss, all will be fired. Teng Zui reply saying that he is in Tanya form, which had such a good education qualification. No worries he will find another job else where, then Tanya remind him after being fired from government unit. That will only leave black mark on his record, how will it be possible to find a job eaily -_-".

Informing him that E & P have incoming danger. And they will need to perform in order to let the E & P dept to stay. So Tanya told Teng Zui, that the coming Job Fair which is at the end of this year. They had to make it a very good one, or else they wont escape the fate of closing down E & P Dept. At this specific moment, "Teng Zui" received a call from hospital. News of her daughter been bang by car, while waiting for traffic light to turn green to walk. Then at hospistal "Teng Zui" as father will need to pay a deposit of $1000. "Teng Zui" told the nurse that he couldn't afford it, and then "Tanya" offer to help him pay. Then "Teng Zui" say something out loud, trying to make the real Teng Zui know. He said: "See i am so useless, daughter admitted to hospital. Cant even pay the bill for her own daughter. "Tanya" after hearing this felt so heart pain and leave the office crying.


Teng Zui feeling very bad, inform Tanya that the upcoming Job Fair had been changed. During a meeting, Eric and Chee Hong suggested to CEO that the end year job fair keep it a small one as there is no need to have a big one. Because calculating the cost spent everything. A small one will also earn the required performance. But they do not want to inform the Minister about it, because they know minister will want to have a big one.

So Teng Zui & Tanya had a chance during a active day. They try to mentioned to word "Job Fair" in front of the Minister. Because CEO, Eric & Chee Hong instructed everyone not to mention Job Fair in front of Minister. Whoever who do it will be trying to be in their way. So Tanya & Teng Zui will have to find a way to get this two word out in front of him.

While they are serving each other with drinks, they come across two sentence which they can use having the two words inside. So they proceed as planned, pass water to minister. Then expected he will says "Thank You", then Teng Zui in Tanya form says "It's my JOB" follow up with Tanya in Teng Zui form says "FAIR Enough". They keep repeating this sentence until Minister shoot a question to CEO. Hows the Job Fair coming in the year end? As he just went to one oversea. And he really enjoy it and wish that this year job fair will be as interesting like the one he went.

Whats going on? Free Food?
Keke, actually is a Thank You session Chaired by PS.

He will be giving out certs to those who helped out in the HTW. Last year they don't have this, or else i would have 2 cert now -_-".

Why last year dont have?
Because this year, Strategic Development has a new SAD & AD. And they suggested to PS, it will be good to present a Thank You cert for those who help out.

PS approved it, then here we are eating while waiting for the certs =P

Follow Up Career talk from AIA -_-"

Today after office hour, i had to attend a talk by Dr Anderson. It is a follow up session from the career fair which i attend few weeks ago. AIA is the one organising the talk, feeling no harm in knowing new things and so on. I decided to go look look @@ see see.

Straight after work i head over to AIA HQ. Which is located @ 1 Robinson Road, somewhere near Tanjong Pagar MRT station. It took me quite a while to get myself to there, i was around 10min late. In my mind is, oh no. They had started and i missed the head of the talk =(.

Guess what -_-"! When i reached they were very happy to see me, and asked me to faster sign in. Then one of them will lead me to the room. Hmm, going through the list. I only saw 1 signature on it o_o". Then i was lead to a room inside the room i met a few other more agent managers -_-". Shaked hand & intro themselve to me. Then i finally saw the 1 and only nsf around, his name is Wee Kee. And then we chat with some of the managers, while waiting for the others to arrive.

After waiting for around 30min, they decided to cancel the talk. As there is only 2 of us attending the talk, and it will be rather weird to have Dr Anderson to do his talk -_-". So they decided to cancel the talk and grab the chance to speak to us in a room. 3 managers & the 2 of us head into one of their office. Then they start to talk to us about what are the fun things being a Financial Services Consultants, hows their earning like, hows they work and so on, O_O"" it's a very long talk. After they finish then they start to ask us to go take the test.

What test?
They told us that, in order to start working as a Financial Services Consultants in AIA. We will need to take 3 papers under SCI (Singapore College of Insurance)

Whats Financial Services Consultants?
Long time ago, they were know as insurance agent. But now they cover a lot more other Finacial need of us. So they change the phase to Financial Services Consultants.

Back to how they want us to take the test. It is free they will pay for all the required $$, we do not need to pay anything and just need to pass can le. My new friend Wee Kee, i think can call him as Mr If. And keep asking question about if this and if that.

Example:
What if we take the test & then we dont want to join them?
Their reply - You will not gain anything without risking, AIA is a big company which can afford to risk in order to get good agents -_-"

Haiz, i sit there listening to his if until i agree with them. I will try take the book, go for their free tutorial and then see can i absorb. If can i would take the test, but there won't be any comfirm that i will join them. As i am still more interested in something related to sport =P. They say is ok, if i pass everything i still can choose to join or not to join them. I am done, left with Mr If. He goes on until around 10.30pm, then we finally leave the place.

D & D

Once again its MHA D & D, like the previous year. PS approved all those who are going for the D & D, to go home early to get themself changed. Theme for this year D & D is INTERNATIONAL. Haiz, cant get to wear my coat le =(. Should have wore it last year, because last year theme is Glamorous o_o"

I checked with SPDianz, see whether how they will doll up with the theme. But almost all told me that they will be wearing normal shirt & pants, only 2 (Steward & Stanley) they will be wearing their China Theme. Which is bought from somewhere in China (Shanghai / Hong Kong).

But luckily someone give me a picture of what i can wear. "Ling Er" told me that she will be wearing a red Hawaiian red dress. So i checked with her, how hawaiian theme is like. Then i got the picture of it, and finally decided that i can wear my dad shirt =P

Early morning i went to my dad there and took his short sleeve shirt (which have patern related to beach wear). But today i got 1 bad news, something bad happen to Ling Er dress. So i will be the one wearing that theme. Haiz

Time passes very fast in office, at 4.30pm sharp we (Chris, Stanley, Kelvin & Me) leave office. Stanley went home to changed, and then will meet up his gf. Chris went to hunt for xiao mei mei, 1st stop Tiong Bahru, 2nd stop Plaza Sing then from there he will slowly make his way down to Marriott Hotel. Kelvin went to Plaza Sing straight, to meet up with Jerald from POD. As for me, went home and took a short nap.

At around 6.40 i woke up. OH DAMN !!! I am late for my early bird draw (before 7pm consider early bird) !!!. I quickly changed and then took train down but wasn't able to make it before 7pm =(.i was late for around 5min =_=" !!! The event will be starting at 7.30pm, so i spent my time taking a few photos.

Straight after the 2 prize giving, they commence dinner. In between the 8 dish course, they have games going on. Prizes for the games is GV vouchers, for 2 or for whole table (depand on the game) -_-".

Let me get into what type of game they arranged for us to play. 1st up is game related to song and country. MC will played the song, then from the song we need to guess the country of the song. 2nd game i recall is a game of form filling. A paper having 10 sentence as clue, then you will need to fill up the blanks. Quite fun, but didn't contribute much to my table. My English not good =(

The list will have 10 questions.
Each question will have a cule beside.
All the 10 answers is something like this ____TABLE
Then the answers will be like UNBEATABLE, COMFORTABLE, UNRESISTABLE and so on.

3rd game is again do with songs. They play the music, then those who know the song. Will run up to the stage, sit on the chair and sing along with the music =P. Got Hokkien song, English song, old chinese song and etc. 4th game which related to the theme. Luckily i am not selected, but both Stanley & Steward wearing the China theme is pick to go up the stage.

They have to do what the mc taught them to do. 3 different type of music come with 3 type of dance -_-" Keke Stewart so cute dancing on stage =P. Evil Chris use his camera and record down the dance O_o". After everyone did their dancing, once again is the judging time. Which is rate by how the applause from the audience. Once again Stanley manage to get into the final. But this time round he didn't make it as the winner.

After the last dish of Dessert, there is alot of photo taking around the hall. Department gather to take their Department pics.

Everyone start to leave at their own. Surprisingly i joined Lionel, Wei Jian & Hans. They went to Starbucks to sit down chit chat.

We end up chit chatting till at around new 11.45pm then we leave heading towards the MRT station. To our disappointment, Hans + Wei Jian + Lionel Gf + Me. The 4 of us had to find our way back, becaused we missed our last train. As for Lionel, he still have his last train towards Yishun. We planned to take a cab down, but there seem to be alot of people waiting to flag a cab down. So we decided to walk down to bus stop, and check to see is there anymore bus service towards Clementi. To our luck all the 4 of us got our bus, Hans + Lionel Gf + me took bus 14. Wei Jian took some other bus, forgotten what le =P. Finally reach home at around 12.30am O_o"
