Drinking @ Holland Village

Today is the eve of Ivans Big Big Day, his marriage. 1 very important thing which i need to do, i need to buy dvd-r/rw for the digital video cam which he passed to me last night. Not much choices i have at TBP Courts, only 2 brands to choose. Each brands have 2 type R or RW, coming in single or bunch of 5.

After around 10min to 20mins of consideration, i finally decided to pick the "Imm" CD-R of 5 disces. I proceed to a bus stop at somewhere near TBMarket, to meet up Ling Er & Mr X on bus 75.

We were heading down to Holland Village to drink. Sought of a celebration for Yanlin who is going to ORD le. We also planned to watch some live soccer tonight -

First match
Start @ 6.50pm
Everton Vs Manu

The match was so boring 0-0 all the way. Until around 83min, N. Vidic finally break the egg. 0-1 for manu. FT result Manu won 0-1 =)

2nd match
Start @ 7.40
Portsmouth Vs Liverpool

Halfway throught match 1, this match started on another tv. Also another boring match, this one very very worse then the 1st one. 0-0 all the way. None of the players break the egg.

3rd match
Start @ 8.30
Spurs Vs Arsenal

But this match was not shown live, so sad, cos this match 1st half already home lead by 1-0. Home is not the favourites some more. But the favourite strike back in 2nd half and won the game 1-3. Power right, sure very exciting.

We stayed and watch finished another 2 live match on the 2 sets of tv's. At around 11.15pm then we left the place, then at around 12am i finally reached home. After reaching home then once again i am so excited about tomorrow. My first time being someone de brother in wedding -_-".

Moon Cake
Tripple SAD

Before the last day of my NS, Sabrina already booked me on the 25th this month to celebrate moon cake celebration with them(SPD). But during one of the day this week, i got a call from Sabrina. Informing me that the moon cake celebration had change to 14th. So i have nothing on today so i joined them =P.

Before i set off back to MHA, i meet up Katharine to pass her back the insurance books (M5, M9 & HI). But in the end i only passed her M5 & HI. She pursuaded me to retake the exam once more, so i tell her i will give a try for the M9. At around 11.30am, i finished meeting Katherine at my lobby.

Go home bathe and set off for MHA, the celebration starts at 3.30pm. As usual, there is some gift giving for the day before we start eating moon cakes.

Tripple sad for me !!!

1st SAD
Anderson told me that my gift was left at his house. So i just got my farewell card only.

2nd SAD
This year the moon cake celebration. There is NO ice-cream moon cake for me to eat !!!
From my previous post i missed a few times i think twice. How come got 1st time got 2nd time no 3rd time de =(

At first there is 2nd part plan. Which is to meet my maple mei (Ms Shi Qi or Dead Chicken). At first we planned to go City area or Vivo together de. But in the end she went Parkway instead -_-" So in the end i changed my mind, dont want meet her le x_x".

So in the end i went JP with Piu.
At 5.30pm. Piu knock off time. We wait up for Stewart and then got a free ride to JP. Cos his gf is not in Singapore, thats why he could give us a ride. If not he will be fetching her home le O.o". Coming office empty handed, but i left office with my Jacket forgotten jacket. Which i really 100% forgotten to take -_-".

After reaching JP, we walk walk awhile. Then settle for dinner at Mcdonald, Mr Piu and his wonderfull idea. Suggested we order 3 Meal and then we share. Which means we each choose one meal we want and then the third meal will be Mc nugget meal. As usual piu is eating his Mc Wings, me Mc Spicy and then each with 3 additional nuggets from the 3rd set. While eating our dinner, then i discover something =(.

3rd SAD
I discover my farewell card is no longer with me. Freaking hell, where did i drop it =(. SOB SOBZ

Half way through our meal, i saw Ronald. Then i got updates about him. He is now a FA (Financial Advisor in other words insurance agent), he & his gf also got a flat just around my neighbourhood. He also did some explanation about investment policy and AIA health shield to me. Then i also decided to follow up another meeting talking about AIA health sheild. It is something good =P.

After our dinner, i proceed back to TBP and play 1 game of sang guo. Then went back home and meet up Ivan at around 12.30am get the digital video cam from him. Which he borrowed from Peter? What is the digital video cam for? He is getting married le, this coming Sunday. I will be his brother o_O" cum Video Man =_=".

The Wake

Whats "The Wake"?
The Wake is refering to those pitch up tent under HDB blocks. Which they put the dead person in the coffin then others will come and take a last look at the person.

Today as i mentioned in the earlier post, Stanley dated me to go to YanHan dad wake together. But all the way from morning untill 7.30pm. I did not receive any sms or call from him comfirming the details of the wake. So i assume that today should be cancel le. Then i left my hp in my room, and i at living room watching tv. At around 9plus, i saw his sms. Which was sent at around 8pm -_-" Haiz so late le, so in the end he and his gf went together.

A Full Packed Day

Morning
At first Joseph told me to help Justin. I will be his victim for him to tow =P. But today morning got a message from Joseph telling me that the test will be postpone to wednesday. As today weather is a rainy day.

Afternoon
At first had lunch appointment with my ex-lunch kakis. But in the end they cant make it so i just date Ling Er to have lunch together at Tiong Bahru Plaza de MOS-Burger. As usually during lunch, Ling Er complain about her new working enviroment. Haiz, i cant do much to help. Just can offer my ear to her =P Hope after she say out, will make her feel better =) I enjoying offering a listening ear to others =P

Night
Today is the last last day of the chinese 7th month, so need to Bai Bai. At first, i had dated Ivan to swim at 7pm. So now had to postpone again -_- ... Tonight i also heard a news from Stanley, he told me that Yanhan father had just passed away - last Sat (8th). Most of the office ppl will be going tonight, Stanley ask me whether want to join him and go tomorrow.
Accepted, details will be comfirmed tomorrow.

Badminton

Today morning have a badminton appointment with my secondary school mates @ Kim Seng CC starting from 9am to 11am. I manage to reach there at around 10am, played a short while then we head off to eat breakfast at tiong Bahru Plaza.

They had choosen to eat Sakae O_O". After a tiring game of badminton, then eat sakae for lunch x_x". What you sweat out is not more then what we are going to take in +_+". We are the 1st group of people having lunch there, as they start their business at 11.30am.

Total of 6 people, Couple FuWei & YanYu ate the most. Follow up with couple WenLong & XueEr. As for me and Ah Bu, we just ate a main course and nothing much le. The 2 couples order alot of side dishes -_-"

We spent all the time in Sakae until around 1pm. Then i bid farewell to them, as i need to go work afternoon shift at Queenstown. After i reach queenstown then i discover there is a big change of management. No more guard tower, order pass down. They must sit next or can say right beside the pool -_-". What a hot & ultra sunny day for me, wonder will anyone get heat stroke soon =_=".

Test le X_X"

A total of 6 training i have, last Thursday & Friday + this week monday to thursday. All lessons are conducted from 10am to around 12plus. And 4 out of the 6 lesson, before the training ends it start raining -_-"

Today at 7pm i will be having my test le -_-. I planned to revise my theory once before going for the test. So i planned to meet up a Maple mei at PS for lunch, then i will hang around there de fastfood revise the theory. She told me that she will be going PS with her friend to see Xiao Zhu. But before i board the train i found out that she went Bugis instead of PS. So i proceed to drop off at bugis to meet up with her for lunch. Then this power mei -_-", after i drop off the train. Then i found out she had left bugis and on her way to Changi Airport le -_-". Hell man, never tell me when i check with her just now.

Haiz give up le, dont want pursade anymore. I went over to MOS Burger, settle down had my Tsunkune Rice Burger Meal for lunch. And then revise my lifesaving theory things. All the way till around 6.15pm then i proceed to leave the place. 1 other reason which makes me wanna stay at Bugis is. There 3 or 4 bus which i can take to reach Delta swimming complex.

Destination reached, start some practice before tester reach to test us. Was told test should start at 7pm. But at around 7.45pm, Mr Tester then reach. After some checking of identity, and some presonal information. We start with CPR first, 1 was the 2nd chap to do. 1st chap is my partner (Justin). Like usual practice, speak and do. Not even 20 sec, tester say ok next. Oh damn, that was fast. My turn le, thinking that i should end fast too? But hell no, i did around 2 cycles of 5 set each -_-

While one by one we do the CPR, the rest was being ask theory questions. After the the CPR we start the BM test timing 3min 15sec swim + tow and the others. Only one of us failed, his timing for the 3.15 exceeded. He try twice but both also failed. My timing was amoung the best of the group 2min 30sec =P

Ah Gong & Ah Ma dde "Ji Re"

Ji re is the meaning of death aniversary. Die how many years le? Dont ask me they die long long ago before i was born. Maybe even before my mum married my dad.

Every time during this Ji Re, will have lots of food to eat. Cos mum will cook curry vege or chicken, soup, nuo hiong, fish. This are the 4 comfirm dish which i will see everytime. My favourite will be the curry & "nuo hiong". I will eat around 3 to 4 rolls of "nuo hiong" for lunch & dinner. =P

After lunch proceed to work, then back from work Curry + "nuo hiong" for my wonderfull dinner of the day =P

Swimming Training

What sort of training?
Nothing special or big.

Just as usual, my lifeguard certs will be expiring every 3 yrs. So i decided to retake the last two paper in order to renew my certs. The last two paper which i am retaking are BM & CPR.

My partner for the whole training is Justin. His company sponsor him the money to take up lifesaaving. So he can proceed over to China to manage the new resort which his company had open there.

What i can say about him?
- Big size (not fat, is those built V shape)
- Quite handsome (cos gays at Delta had been looking at him, wahaha)
- He dont know how to float -_-" (had a hard time towing him)

What do i need to do for the test of BM & CPR?
BM
- Swim 50M towards the victim, contact tow him back another 50M within 3min 15sec.
- Swim 50M towards the victim, tow victim back another 50M. At 25M victim will struggle, had to push clear and wait for him to weaken or heard what you say. And then carry on with the remaining 25M.
- Victim is unconcious at 25M, swim towards victim and tow him to the side. Then do deep water Res (EAR)
- Iniative test, tester will put two type of victim in the pool. And then i will see which one to save first and what type of method to use for the save.
CPR
- Do CPR on the dummy.
- They change the compression n blowing to (30:2) last time is (15:2)

Farewell lunch for Siew Ling

Today some of the SPDianz, organise a farewell lunch for Ling Er. I also join them and eat together =P.

Location - Vines
Time - 12.15pm

I meet up Ling Er at Outrum MRT station, then we took train down to Novena together. The restaurant is located opp the church, beside the cheers there. The choice of food there is something similar to western food. I order chicken de set lunch, set lunch include

starter - soup
main course - my fried chicken
drinks - coffee/tea (me coffee)
desert - Durian puff (if i never remember wrongly)

After the food, me Kelvin & Chris went to arcade. Then i follow them back to office to see see did i miss out anything to take home. Then i came back with my last bag of things.

Lunch with Ling Er

Ling Er had officially left MHA and posted to Cantoment le. Her days there is not as good as last time. Last time at MHA she still can walk over and chit chat with her lunch kakis group.

So today date her for lunch together, at first planning to eat at somewhere nearby her workplace. But after meet up with her, sky black black. So we decided to take MRT to Dhoby Ghaut and settle down at Carls' Jr and have our lunch.

Then i found out more about her new working enviroment.
- no more lunch kakis group
- everyone there is so strict, greeting her by Mdm
- no other ladies to chit chat girls talk
- not much celebration like last time at SPD
and many many more ...... -_-"

After lunch we head off together, she went back to Cantoment. I proceed back to Plaza play Knights of Valor (Super Hero) and then go home at around 7plus / 8plus.
